My Name is Lisa. I have a running problem, as well as many other things. I am a young 27 year old, free spirit energetic chic. Yes I am a chic, women doesn’t quite define me correctly, but chic it does. My favorite thing of all times to do is HAVE FUN. I don’t care what it is as long as i enjoy it. But running I really enjoy for many reasons. If your a runner you know them. I have been running since fourth grade. I love it, I live for it, Its my Prozac somedays. I will detail my running and different races histories in a different blog. But just thought you might want to get to know me a little. I am a nurse going on my 5th year. I guess you call that experienced now, but some days at work can be tough, its never dull, I am constantly moving and learning. I love it and will never change my career, just my specialty. But enough about work right. The only things I will share about work here are thoughts based on people I meet and situations I encounter.
Besides running I love biking, used to ride my bike a lot casually when my grandma was diagnosed with cancer, and I found the same contentment that I did in running as well as a little different workout then I was use to. I take part in the MS 150 bike ride, that raises money for Multiple Sclerosis which my best friend from college has. I of course also still swim and I play ice hockey, although I took this season off. Ice hockey can be a little dangerous so I play in a no check league with most of my team being males and twice my age, its fun.
It may be shocking but running and sports is not all I do. I am a movie buff, love reading murder/mystery books and of course books on running and sports. I appreciate art, architecture and interior decorating. I get crazy ideas sometimes paint my house and repaint and do little remodel projects that drive my husband crazy. I also enjoy music and live bands, I use to play the cello but I had to sell it in college to well eat; haven’t purchased a new one yet. I hate being indoors, which makes winters rough for me. I appreciate wine, but I probably need some tips from steve runner on what the good stuff is. I am more of a fan of beer, good dark stouts and bocks.
So thats me in a nutshell ” help I am in a nutshell, help” ok ok, there is a ton more to me but some is too personal and some is just to crazy.
